The recent announcement of the 84 organisations selected to deliver Inclusive Employment Australia marks more than just a program transition; it signals a major shift in how we support people with disability into meaningful work.
From 1 November 2025, Inclusive Employment Australia will replace the Disability Employment Services (DES) program, with a strong focus on delivering more tailored, community-informed and outcomes-driven support for people with disability. It’s a bold and ambitious reimagining of what inclusive employment can look like, and one that Altivio Consulting is ready to support.
We believe this is a moment of opportunity. A chance to build smarter, more purpose-aligned services that drive better outcomes not just for job seekers, but for employers, communities, and the sector as a whole.
A new era, built on purpose
The Inclusive Employment Australia model builds on the strong foundations laid by DES, with a renewed focus on what truly matters: real employment outcomes, meaningful inclusion, and support that’s genuinely tailored to each individual. For employment service providers, it also brings new expectations around governance, capability, and performance, and that’s where strategic support can make a big difference.
At Altivio, we’re already working with employment service providers and peak bodies to unpack the changes, identify opportunities, and ensure transition plans are not only compliant but future-ready.
Whether your organisation is one of the 84 successful providers preparing to scale up, or you’re reassessing your role in a changing landscape, we’re here to help you navigate what’s next.
What’s next?
The Department of Social Services has released the full list of funded providers, and we encourage all sector stakeholders to review it here. Over the coming months, these organisations will begin building their delivery capacity, setting up systems, and preparing for contract commencement.
